Toxoplasma IgG ELISA Kit

Toxoplasma IgG ELISA Kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the qualitative detection of IgG-class antibodies to Toxoplasma in human serum or plasma. It is intended to be used in clinical laboratories for diagnosis and management of patients related to infection with Toxoplasma. In general, a rise in Toxoplasma IgM antibodies first appears after Toxoplasma infection, which can be detected around 6 days after infection, then gradually rises and remains for several weeks to months, and finally gradually declines until it disappears. A positive IgG antibody indicates a previous Toxoplasma gondii infection, usually chronic, but can also be acute. After the first test for IgG antibodies, the same test is repeated 2-3 weeks later and if there is a 4-fold or more increase in the potency of the antibodies, further diagnosis is required.

Toxoplasma IgG ELISA Kit 48T / 96T Human serum / plasma
This kit detects Toxoplasma lgG antibody (TOX-lgG) in human serum or plasma samples, polystyrene microwell strips are pre-coated with Toxoplasma antigen. After first adding serum or plasma specimens to be examined, corresponding specific antibodies (TOX-lgG-Ab & some lgM-Ab) present in patient specimens bind to the antigens at the solid phase, and other unbound components will be removed by washing. In the second step, the HRP(horseradish peroxidase)-conjugated anti-human lgG will specifically react only with TOX lgG antibodies. After washing to remove the unbound HRP-conjugate , chromogen solutions are added into the wells. In presence of (TOX Ag) - (TOX-lgG) - (anti-human lgG-HRP) immunocomplex, after washing the plate, the TMB substrate was added for color development, and the HRP connected to the complex catalyzes the color developer reaction to generate the blue substance, add 50 µ I of Stop Solution, and turn yellow. The presence of the absorbance of the TOX-lgG antibody in the sample was determined by a microplate reader.High sensitivity, specificity and stability
