The H. Pylori IgG Rapid Test Kit (Colloidal gold) is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. The test cassettes consists of :1) a burgundy colored conjugate pad containing mouse anti-human IgG antibody conjugated with colloidal gold; 2) a nitrocellulose membrane strip containing one test line (T line) and a control line(C line). The T line is precoated with recombinant H. Pylori antigen. The C line is precoated with the anti-mouse IgG antibody. When an adequate volume of test specimen is added into the sample well of the test cassette, the specimen migrated by capillary action across the pre-coated membrane. The H. Pylori IgG antibody if present in the specimen will bind to the mouse anti-human IgG conjugates. The immunocomplex is then captured by the antibody coated in T line, forming a burgundy-colored T line, indicating H. Pylori IgG positive test results.
